This is a village hall setting, so please don’t expect the standards you might find in a professional performance space.

We organise around four gigs per year to add to all the other good things going on around here and to put the music we love at the heart of our community.  The show is supported by volunteers and proceeds from the bar go to local charities.

The address is Sutton Benger Village Hall, Chestnut Road, Sutton Benger, Chippenham,  SN15 4RP.

There is a stage, although sometimes artists prefer to perform from the floor in the hall, a meeting room for your use (although drinks are kept in the fridge so people will be popping in and out – do tell us if you want some quiet time before the performance) and we provide homecooked food.  Just let us know what and when you would like to eat.  There is always cake!

Technical stuff

Our sound technician is Danny Kitainik (www.phoenixsound.co)

Setting up

The hall is usually open from 16:30.  Doors open at 19:30 and the performance starts at 20:00.  So sound checks from 17:30 ish and eat at 18:30.  Again, just let us know if you’d like different timings.

The bar is closed during the performance and opens at the interval.

Accommodation

The Bell House Hotel (www.thebellhousehotel.co.uk) is literally across the road from the hall and there are lots of other options locally.  We can arrange that for you.

Finally

We want a show to be amazing for everyone, you, the audience and the volunteers.  Please do let us know if you have any ideas for things we could do better.
